Haveli Marble Private Limited (HMPL) is a Udaipur-based, family-founded enterprise established in 1975. Rooted in over five decades of presence in the natural stone industry, the company has evolved from a single mining venture into a diversified business group with leadership in marble & granite mining, processing and exports, and a growing presence in the premium hospitality sector.

The legacy
Founder’s story
The Haveli story begins in 1975, when the late Shri Ghanshyam Singh Krishnawat — a visionary entrepreneur and the pioneer of marble mining in Southern Rajasthan — entered the natural stone sector.
His legacy is carried forward today by his two sons, Veeram Dev Singh Krishnawat and Yaduraj Singh Krishnawat.
Foresight into marble
He transitioned to marble mining before the soapstone market turned, securing Pink Marble allotments and establishing himself in the then-nascent marble slab cutting industry.
Portfolio & mechanisation
Black Marble and Green Marble mines were added, and mining was mechanised with excavators, drilling machines and gantry cranes long before they became industry standard.
Entry into hospitality
Hotel Chunda Palace opened in Udaipur — a luxury boutique heritage hotel that became one of the city’s landmark destinations.

Under Mr. Veeram Dev Singh Krishnawat (Managing Director) and Mr. Yaduraj Singh Krishnawat (Director), HMPL has expanded from marble into granite mining, processing and exports.

Marble & Granite Mining, Processing & Exports
From our own quarries across Rajasthan come stones with names that carry their character: the gold-veined Black Gold, the web-woven Spider Green, the pure White and warm Ivory marbles, and granites from the layered Monte Cristo to the flowing Silver Falls and the softly sparkling White Glimmer.
Every block is shaped at our processing unit in Sukher, Udaipur, where marble gangsaws, granite multi-wire cutters, a fully automatic epoxy resin line and a 22-head polishing line turn raw stone into finished slabs. From there, Haveli stone travels to projects in China, the USA, Italy, Egypt and beyond.

The Chunda Collection
Under the Chunda Hotels banner, the Group welcomes guests to three distinct expressions of Mewar hospitality:
- Hotel Chunda Palace — a luxury heritage boutique hotel and one of Udaipur’s most recognised landmarks, celebrated for its blend of timeless Mewari architecture and contemporary elegance.
- Hotel Chunda Shikar Oudi — a private wilderness of over 650 bigha, with its own lake, jungle safaris, forest trails and birdsong. A retreat where privacy is the greatest luxury.
- Hotel Chunda Haveli — in the heart of the old city, with views of the City Palace. A charming haveli stay for travellers who want Udaipur at their doorstep.

Carrying forward this legacy are his sons, Mr. Veeram Dev Singh Krishnawat (Managing Director) and Mr. Yaduraj Singh Krishnawat (Director). Under their leadership, the company has undergone significant transformation — expanding from marble into granite mining and processing, and building an export practice that now serves four continents.
